Playing casino games online is simple to do. The hard part is finding one or two online casinos to play at. You want to choose at least one, perhaps a second one to use as a practice casino, that you are comfortable will. Before you deposit any money you will want to make sure that your online casino of choice is secure and licensed. It is fine to ask for that information from the casino’s support staff, but it is always a very good idea to check with an outside source to make sure that the information you receive is accurate.
Once you have decided on an online casino that you want to play at, setting yourself up to play is easy and does not take long to do.
The first step is to choose whether or not to download the casino software or to always play on the casino’s flash version. If you prefer the flash version, click on the instant play option. You will be prompted to create a user account. User accounts are free, so if you are a play-of-fun player do not worry about being charged. The only time you “spend” money is when you deposit money to your user account. If you do not deposit money to your user account you will only be able to play for fun. Once you have your user account you can deposit money if you wish to play for real. After that a flash version of the casino will open. Choose your game of choice and go to town.
If you wish to download the casino’s software to play with, select the download option. Online casinos will offer their software to be downloaded for free as that is often more convenient for players. Your computer and the website will connect and your computer will begin to download the files. After your computer is finished downloading the installation file, you need to open the installation files. Once you do so the casino will be installed on your computer. The first time you open the casino you will be promoted to create your user account. After you have done so you will be able deposit money if you wish to play for real. Or you can elect to play for fun and go on to the casino lobby to choose a game.
Whether you download the software or play in the flash version, you will have to do one or the other to play a casino game in an online casino.

Slots are a long standing favorite amongst Americans. When imagining the atmosphere of a casino, it never fails that the description will include the sound of slot reels clicking into place, bleating bells that signaling that a jackpot has been won and the sound of coins filling the metal catch tray. Granted most of those noises are now digital sound files since slot machines are essentially computerized now. But the fact that those digital sounds have been incorporated into the computerized slot machines of today is a testament to the power and popularity of slots.
Slots players in the U.S. can usually find slot machines at racing tracks, such as dog and horse tracks. Because of the animal tracks and the slot machines, these establishments in the U.S. are called “racinos.” These racinos provide a place for U.S. slots fans to play slots, and for track enthusiasts to take a break from the track. Part of the revenue from racinos usually is given to the state, which in turn uses the only in state expenses, usually education.
Because of the widespread popularity of slots it is no wonder that various slots games make up about two thirds of the games offered by online casinos. Slots are so popular that there are online casinos named after them, with most of the games being offered being slots. It is not unusual for an online casino to have anywhere between sixty and ninety different slots games. Online casino software manufacturers have created so many themes for slots so that there will be something for every slots fan. And they are still creating more. Online casino slots come in three reel, five reel and seven reel variations. The more reels the more opportunity to win.
Playing online casino slots is one of the easiest casino games to play. First choose which slots game you wish to play. Once the game has loaded, choose how many lines wish to play with; the majority of slots games have a maximum number of twenty pay lines. You will have to bet for each pay line that you would like an opportunity to win with. This means that if you bet $0.05 per pay line, and you wish to play with all twenty pay lines, you will have to make a total bet of $1.00. Once you are happy with the total amount of your bet, click the ‘Spin’ button to activate the reels; this would be like pulling the lever on a classic slot machine. The reels will come to a stop one by one. Once they are all stopped, the game will then determine if you have any combinations that win. The types of combinations and the amount that each combination is worth can vary from game to game. To see which slots combinations pay how much, view the pay table. Any payouts that you have one will be credited to your user account.

There is no other game that provides equal amounts of thrill and risk than roulette does. Like slots, roulette has been a staple game of chance in casinos for decades. When online casinos began to become an alternative method of achieving the excitement of a land based casino, it was no surprise that roulette was included in almost every single online casino’s line up of games. There is just something about watching the ball fly around the wheel and waiting on edge to see where it will land.
A roulette wheel is made up of thirty eight spaces, two of which are green (marked with a 0 and 00) and eighteen that black and eighteen red; the remaining thirty six spaces are randomly numbered 1 to 36. You bet that the ball will land in the flowing ways: between 1 and 18, between 19 and 36, on an even number, on an odd number, on a black space, on a red space, within the first twelve numbers, within the second twelve numbers, within the last twelve numbers, on the 0, on the 00 or on any individual number.
To play online casino roulette, you place all the bets that you wish to on the table. After all bets have been made the dealer will release the ball. Once the ball comes to rest, the losing bets are collected. Any winning bets are paid. At that point players can start betting on the next spin.
Even though there is no strategy that will improve a player’s odds at overcoming the house edge in online casino roulette, it does not stop players from casting wagers on the game. One of the unique betting aspects of roulette is that you can place multiple bets on multiple possible outcomes, unlike a card game such as blackjack.
When U.S. players enter an online casino looking to play roulette they are likely to find two different versions of the game: standard roulette and European roulette. The difference can be found in that the European version only has thirty seven spaces on the wheel rather than thirty eight—there is no 00 space. The only zero or green space is the 0.
Despite the fact that it is only a game of chance, U.S. players still enjoy the thrill of playing online casino roulette. It is just the thrill of having money riding on a completely random outcome—will you have guessed right…or wrong?

Along with blackjack, poker is one the most popular card games in the U.S. Because it is a favorite past time, it is no surprise that so many variations have been created: Texas Hold’em, Omaha High, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, Five Card Stud, Crazy Pineapple, Crazy Pineapple Eight or Better, Double Flop Hold’em, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw, Ace to Five Triple Draw Variant, Kill Game, Heads Up, Pai-Gow, 10 High Hold’em, Let It Ride and Tri-Card. From all of those variants the ones that you are most likely to encounter in an online casino are Texas Hold’em, Pai-Gow, Let It Ride and Tri-Card.
Because of the popularity of poker it can be found online in online casinos as well as on websites that are devoted only to poker. For U.S. poker players who are looking for the casino experience without having to worry about traveling to Las Vegas or Atlantic City, online casinos provide the best alternative available. This can be said because, unless you are playing for free, you are playing against other players when playing poker variations in an online casino. You are also playing for their money rather than playing for the house’s money like you would be in other online casino games or in a poker tournament.
The only time you are playing by yourself against the game’s computer program is when you are playing for free in an online casino’s free play mode. Online casinos offer a free play mode as a way of practicing playing skills and betting strategies, or to learn a new variation of poker. In this way you can practice or learn without risking any money.
This can be a good way to practice your poker skills or strategy. As poker can be considered a game of skill, it is worth practicing one’s skills and strategy—the more you practice the better you are and the better your chances are at beating other players. The reason that poker is considered a game of skill is because a player can change the odds. If poker were a game of chance there would be nothing a player could do to change their odds.
Online casino poker offers all the fun and thrill of playing poker in a casino, but without the need to leave home. With all the variations of poker available you as a player have opportunities to play a favorite variation or to learn a new one.

Blackjack is one of the most popular games in the world of US gambling. The holds true in the world of online casinos as well. This could be because online blackjack is one of the easiest casino card games to play.
Blackjack is played the same in an online casino as it is in a land based casino, such as Las Vegas or Atlantic City. Every single online casino available to US players includes blackjack. In most cases, online casinos also offer a handful of variations to be tried as well.
Players in the US can play the standard form of blackjack in any online casino that accepts US players. The objective to blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand without your card total going over 21; going over 21 is called busting and you will automatically lose. Each card is worth its face value. Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10. And Aces are worth either a 1 or an 11 depending on which value is more advantageous to you; if you are dealt an Ace you may initially count it as an 11, but after hitting reducing its value to a 1 to keep your card total from going over 21. Any hand that has an Ace is considered a soft hand because its total can change depending on what the best way to value an Ace is for a hand. How to play blackjack in an online casino is the same as playing in a land based casino:
First you click on the chips until you have the amount you wish to bet entered. This will appear in the form of a stack of chips with the total dollar amount on top.
Once you are satisfied with the amount you are betting, click the ‘Deal’ button. You will be dealt two cards face up, and the dealer will be dealt one card face up and one card face down. At this point you can choose to hit or stand. To hit is to receive another card in hopes of raising your card total closer to 21. If you feel that your card total is high enough you would select to stand, which means to not receive any more cards.
Two other options that you may or may not be allowed to play are to double down or to split. The ability to play with either of these options depends on the house rules—some online casinos will allow them and other may not. To double down is to double the amount of your bet and to receive one more card. When doubling down in blackjack you will only receive one more card before you have to stand. To split is to break a pair into two separate hands. A pair consists of two cards with the same value. Your original bet is doubled as well when you split a pair. After selecting to split, each hand is then played out.
Once you have finished playing your cards it is the dealer’s turn to play his hand. There are rules of play that the dealer must follow when playing. Some online house rules say that the dealer must stand on all 17s, while other house rules say that the dealer will only stand on hard 17 which allows for the dealer to hit on soft seventeen. Hitting on soft 17 gives the dealer another chance to beat you. For US blackjack players, a dealer who stands on all 17s gives better odds for the player than a dealer hitting soft 17 does.
After the dealer’s hand is played out, any payouts that you have won will be credited to you. Otherwise you can either rebet your original amount again, change the amount of your bet or quit playing.

There are an abundance of casino games available to casino fans. Whether you are a slots fan or more in to table games, there is a casino game that fits your liking.
Because online casino are not limited in space like a land based casino is, they can offer a wider variety in types of games and in variations of those types. The benefit in this for you as a player is that you will be able to find your favorite game while having access to other types that you can try out.
The most common casino game to find online is slots. Most online casinos will have different types of slots available, ranging from three reel slots, five reel slots and seven reel slots. And there are many different themes for slots as well, ranging from classics with Egyptian themes to modern themes that are centered around a food fight or magic. It is not unusual for a well-rounded online casino to have anywhere from sixty to ninety different combinations of reels and themes available in their slots offering. Some online casinos are based and centered on slots, with only a bare minimum of table games available.
But if you are looking for table games such as blackjack, poker or roulette, you will want to look for a more well-rounded online casino as a source for your casino games. In a well-rounded casino you will find table games such as blackjack and poker along with variations such as Vegas Strip Blackjack of Seven Card Stud Poker. You will even find European roulette on top of standard roulette. Also available are keno and craps.
Online casinos have made for an incredible way to experience your favorite casino games without having to leave the comfort of your own home. The other benefit is that you do not have to spend money unless you wish to. You can download the majority of online casinos’ software or play in their instant flash versions for free. The only time you must deposit money is if you decide to wager actual money, otherwise you can play for fun using play money and still enjoy your favorite online casino games.

It looks like US poker players who play at Everleaf Poker are in for some bad news. I’ve dones some news research on the subject so I’ll give you a quick rundown of the events. But if you play at Everleaf, you might want to set up a news alert on the poker room through Google.com. It’s an easy service to use. Just search for Everleaf under news and Google will let you set up an alert to go to your email in box. Because US players are going to be tracking this one for awhile.
So, the Everleaf situation comes up just when we thought it was safe to go back into the online poker waters. After all, the Department of Justice has changed their view of the Wire Act of 1961 and there is no Federal law against online poker. So, we can all play again, right? Hold on, not you Washington State. See, that’s where this little Everleaf issue originates from. Washington State has a state law that makes online poker a Federal offense. Everleaf was accepting players from the state. As a result, Washington State seems to have followed their usually procedure and seized the funds from the online payment processor for the poker room. Now, if you live in Washington State, you might want to consider the seizure of your funds a blessing. Or should I say – that only your funds were seized is a blessing. So far, Washington State hasn’t shown any interest in prosecuting actual players, but if they did, the offense is a Federal offense, meaning that play penny ante poker online can get you locked up in the same cell as a child molester. Perhaps the good folks in Washington State have been hitting the Starbucks too hard because that seems a bit of over kill.
But as of this writing, Everleaf Poker is no longer open to US players and existing players have been shut out of their accounts. No one is sure what will happen with the financial situation and if we’re looking at another Full Tilt Poker fiasco. But perhaps it will help to remember that PokerStars was able to refund money to US players. Not every poker room crashes after leaving the US market. We’ll hope for the best for Everleaf.

The news is out courtesy of Reuters and other news sources. Washington DC has scrapped plans for online poker. Now the DC online poker bill caused a great deal of controversy when it was first introduced because it came into play before the Department of Justice reversed its decision on the Wire Act of 1961. This means that Washington DC actually managed to get an online poker bill through Congress while online gambling was technically thought to be illegal and Congress was refusing to budge on any online gambling bills.
Wait. How did they do that? Well, where there’s a Congress, there’s probably a big time crushing debate going on at one point or another. See Washington DC is in a unique position. Since they are the nation’s capital, they must pass all potential changes through Congress for approval. But if Congress doesn’t act in the required amount of time, legislation can automatically pass into law. Which is what happened with online poker. Congress was busy debating the budget for the nation and no one got around to reacting to DCs suggestion that they should be allowed to offer online poker. And suddenly DC had legal online poker.
Which never came to fruition because things stalled in the process of putting the online games into place. See, DC didn’t want online poker to be available everywhere but planned to restrict it to approved “hot spots.” But then the question came up — who was going to visit those hot spots to play? Which then brought up the question of “how many poker players actually live in DC?” Because DC’s online poker bill wasn’t to bring a big existing poker room into the district but rather to establish an internal poker room just for those in DC.
And that’s why it died. When the city council’s Finance committee got right down to it, they decided there just weren’t enough poker players in DC to keep an online poker room solvent. So, the matter has been shelved and it looks like Nevada will be the first US location to put legal online poker into action. Congrats Nevada!

This news actually comes from a survey done by the PPA or Poker Players Alliance regarding online poker, but I have no doubt that it also applies to online casino gambling. The PPA has been working hard to convince Congress to put laws in place to established federally regulated online poker in the United States. As a result of these efforts the PPA conducted a survey of American online poker players and showed that an vast majority (about 90 percent) would actually welcome federally regulated online poker and would prefer playing at online poker rooms that were federally regulated. They also showed that despite the big April 15 2010 online poker shutdown, about half of online poker players are still playing on poker rooms regulated outside the US.
You may wonder with the PPA is doing all this when we’re seeing states forming a line to bring legal online poker within their boundaries. The reason is that while regulating online poker on a state by state basis might provide some relief for online poker players, federally regulated poker would be a much better option — for the players. Perhaps not so much for the states. With federally regulated poker, the US would be more attractive to the top names in online poker, like PartyPoker. For players, this would mean bigger sites to play on and a large base to play against. Iowa is already trying to form an online poker bill that includes Nevada and New York players because Iowa is worried they don’t have enough poker players in the state to make an online poker room a reality.
Of course, Congress is often slow to act and in this case, they may prefer to leave the issue to be settled on a state by state basis so that they don’t have to go on the record one way or the other in an election year.

Nevada’s casinos are reporting a $4 billion dollar loss for 2011. But how is this important to online gambling? Let’s take a look at that for a moment.
Nevada casinos have long been a voice against online gambling. After all, if people gambled online, they wouldn’t have to travel to Vegas to visit the casinos. But then the economy shifted and it became less a matter of whether or not people wanted to travel to whether or not they could travel. Discretionary spending is down. People can’t afford to travel to Las Vegas if they want to. So Vegas casinos are still losing revenue. Which means they need to find a way to replace that revenue and they’ve slowly come to realize that online gambling could work in their favor.
See, the question comes down to who runs and operates online gambling in the US. We’ve already seen MGM and Boyd entering into negotiations with the massive online gambling site bwin.party. This could serve both as bwin.party’s entry into the US market and a way for MGM and Boyd to increase revenue. If the online casinos are required to operate out of an existing and approved US gambling operation, then the Vegas casino brands stand to benefit. And oddly, so do the online casinos. Because players are always searching for a best online casino guide and wouldn’t that be easier to do if the casinos were actually the same casinos you could play with in Las Vegas?
Also, I can’t help but think of the great prizes and promotional benefits this could bring. Look, airline miles are a big promotion for credit card companies. Well, imagine if by playing at an online casino you could earn bonus points that could be traded for perks in Vegas. Imagine of the casinos could track your gambling and actually give you comps for their hotels, just like they do big Vegas players. I’d love to earn a Vegas vacation while playing Video Poker at home.

The last year has been a frustrating one for online gamblers in the US and for poker players across the board in the country since many poker pros relied on online poker rooms to keep the funds flowing and for sponsorships. But in 2011, the Department of Justice began to enforce the UIGEA or Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Now I know gamblers who took that as a personal affront, apparently not grasping the difference between the department tasked with enforcing the law and the people who make the law. Or to put it more simply – the same cop who pulls you over for speeding isn’t the person who set the speed limit for the road (some areas of the American South excepted), so it doesn’t help to get mad at the cop.
But the DOJ is tasked with enforcing laws and justice requires making sure they understand the laws and are enforcing them correctly. So here’s where it gets complicated. The DOJ had to enforce the UIGEA which essentially calls for enforcing the law against financial transaction occurring where internet gambling is illegal. The UIGEA doesn’t make internet gambling illegal. It just says – enforce the law where it already is illegal. So, first you need a law that makes internet gambling illegal.
Enter the Wire Act of 1961, a law written to guard against illegal activity in sports betting. The law that people were using to show that internet gambling was illegal because of the way money was transferred. A law which some claimed really only applied to sports betting because casino betting and sports betting are very different. And the DOJ examined the Wire Act and decided, yep, it’s meant to apply to sports betting.
This changes the US gambling prospects for the future not by making online gambling legal, but my opening the door for states to make their own laws regarding online gambling without violating Federal law. So I suspect we’ll see a lot of laws being debated around the country in 2012.

It’s becoming more and more difficult to find a good online casino available for players in the United States. All my favorite Microgaming casinos seemed to have pulled out of the market. Now the news is that Bodog casino (and poker room and sports betting) is leaving the good ol’ USA.
The reason behind the departure – the Brits. It seems we make them nervous. Or more precisely our confusing online gambling laws make them nervous. Bodog wanted a license to offer online gambling in the UK and they got it. But the UK Gambling Commission brought up one little detail – they weren’t thrilled with the fact that Bodog was operating in the US. The fantastic failures of the Cereus Network and Full Tilt Poker after being forced out of the US market was really making the UK folks stop and think. And they thought – this is the best market to be operating in.
Now, Bodog considered the matter and realized that their license with Mohawk Gambling was expiring at the end of the year and this would be the perfect time not to renew the license and just quietly pull out. So they’ll be focusing on building their UK, EU and Asia business until the US gets its gambling act together.
The good news for Bodog players is that since this is a planned departure, they will be able to withdraw their money from their accounts. No one is losing anything! The other good news is Mohawk Gambling has announced that they’ll be starting up their own gambling brand to keep the business running and that player will be able just to transfer their accounts if they wish.

Are you interested in playing casino games but not near an actual casino? Does a trip to Las Vegas to visit the casinos sound interesting, if you just had the time and money? Throughout the United States, people are taking “staycations” instead of vacations. It’s become a time when we’ve realized that we need to learn to deal with our finances in a different manner and the vacation and entertainment budgets have suffered.
Now, here’s the thing. I’m not against a Las Vegas vacation. It can be a great way to enjoy the city, the casinos and the nightlife. But I just can’t plan a trip to Vegas every time I want to play a slot game or some video poker. What I want is to be able to relax with round of slots or a little time at a video poker machine when I come home from work. And I don’t really want to risk that much money.
Which is where a free online casino comes in. All I need to play at an online casino is a good internet connection. Really, that’s about it. Now, I can sign up for an account and make a deposit and play casino games for real money. Just like I would in Las Vegas. But many people don’t realize that with an online casino, you can play a wide selection of casino games over the internet without even making a deposit. Now this practice play or fun play mode offered by the top online casinos won’t allow you to win real money, but many people find that taking a little time during the day to play free slots or practice video poker strategy can be relaxing. And if you want to play for real money, it only take a few minutes to make a deposit at the online casino. Since you aren’t paying for airline tickets and a hotel room, you’ll actually spend far less money than you would on a Las Vegas vacation but still get all the gambling fun you want.

ClubUSACasino.com, which is part of the renowned Club World Casinos Group, has been in operation since 2004. Since then, the site has been providing players in the US and abroad with top-notch online gambling. Their software, provided by RealTime Gaming, is tested regularly by TST (Technical Systems Testing), and each year the site is awarded with the TST Certificate of Safe and Fair Gaming.
Club USA Casino is, as the name would suggest, a US-friendly online casino. It possesses some great qualities, but is also weighted down by the heft of a few poor choices that keep it from being the best on the web.
Visual Style/Graphics
The first thing players will be greeted with is, naturally, the ‘lobby’. The site is slick, make no mistake. It features beautiful, scantily clad cartoon women – proving that they at least understand to whom they are primarily marketing. The layout is very user friendly, forsaking a mock lobby in exchange for a simple menu.
Here’s a look:

Now, the visual style of the games should come as no surprise to any one with cursory knowledge of RealTime Gaming’s software suite. The Table Games have been designed to carry a life-like look to their physical counterparts. While not so convincing as to actually make some one feel as though one could reach out and touch the felt, the table games still look less cartoony than many other online table games.
The slots are what one would expect; colorful, mostly eye-pleasing, and with enough diversity in symbols to make trying out each machine a worthwhile venture. These aren’t Vegas Technology machines, and so very rarely will players notice the same symbols showing up on different machines.
Variety of Games
Players looking for quantity as well as quality will be pleased, as there are more than 120 games just waiting to be played. Club USA’s games run the gamut, and there is literally something for every one. Here’s a brief breakdown for the curious:
- Online Slots: The bulk of the site’s games come in the form of their online slots. There are over 70, and they come in 3 Reel Classic Style, 5 Reel Video Slot Style, and the proprietary (and popular) Real-Series Slot Style.
- Table Games: There are 16 Table Games just begging for the attention of casual players and high rollers alike. These are strictly card games such as Poker and Blackjack.
- Video Poker: There are 10 Video Poker Machines, and while that number sounds impressive… the lack of any real visual distinction from one machine to the next leaves a lot to be desired. Frankly the machines are rather ugly, and it can be hard to stare at them for too long.
- Specialty Games: One thing to love about RealTime Gaming is that they always provide players with some strong Specialty Games. At Club USA there are 11 to choose from. Along with Bingo, Keno, and Scratch Cards, players will also find American and European Roulette.
That’s a lot of games, and I didn’t even include the slew of Progressive Jackpot games players can find. But some things are better discovered on our own, right?
Promotions
This is where, to me, Club USA falls flat on its face. It doesn’t stay down there, sucking up the dirt and grime, but it does slip in ranking while it struggles back onto its feet as other casinos pass it by. There are two distinct Welcome Bonuses, and while that alone is fine… they’re not very generous.
- Slots-Specific Welcome Bonus: When new players with a taste for slots join, they get a 100% Match Bonus on a first deposit up to $777.
- Table Games Welcome Bonus: When players with a hankering for table games join, they get a 100% Match Bonus on a first deposit up to $150.
While it is nice to have options, the incentives are rather low. When one considers the Welcome Bonuses of other online casinos (some offering up to $10,000 in deposit bonuses), well, one can’t help but feel a little cheated.
Overall
Club USA Casino is a fine online casino, and the fact that it is still US-Friendly will go a long way in keeping it popular here in the states. However, given the bland visuals on several of their games (namely Video Poker) and their disappointing Welcome Bonuses… I might be inclined to direct players elsewhere.
Of course, it all comes down to what you want most out of an online casino. If you want friendly customer service that is available 24/7, Club USA has you covered. If you want safe, secure gaming, Club USA has you covered. More importantly, if you live in the US and want to gamble online… You get the point.
Casino Win Palace is one of the best US-friendly online casinos still around after Black Friday, and bless them for that. Licensed in Curacao, and owned and operated by Lodolia Investments Ltd, Casino Win Palace is also a member of the revered Affactive Affiliates Group. As such, the site does everything it can in order to uphold the excellence one might expect from casinos in the groups – from 24/7 friendly customer service to state-of-the-art security systems, players never have to worry about a thing when playing at Casino Win Palace.
So, how do they stack up against other US-friendly online casinos?
Visual Style/Graphics
For better or for worse, ‘basic’ could very well be the best word to use when describing Casino Win Palace. The casino lobby avoids trying to simulate an actual lobby, something fairly popular amongst the site’s contemporaries. Instead Casino Win Palace opted to just provide an easy-to-navigate menu that runs along the left side of the game window.
As for games, we kind of get a mixed bag here. The Table Games (such as Blackjack) are all played on extremely convincing 3D simulated casino tables. They look so real, one might actually be able to feel the felt that lines their surfaces. On the other hand, all of the Video Poker games (and a few of the slots) offer nothing in the way of variety, and are, frankly, rather ugly.
Variety of Games
There are over 90 games for players to enjoy at Casino Win Palace. As you will see, though, it seems to sway more in favor of online slots players more than any one else:
- 58 total Real-Series Online Slots
- 19 Total Video Poker Machines
- 15 Total Table Games (such as Baccarat and War)
- 6 Specialty Games (such as Bingo and Keno)
Undoubtedly there are enough games to keep even the most die-hard online gambler satisfied.
Promotions
Players get their choice of many a superb bonus. There are easily six Welcome Bonuses, all of which target different kinds of players. I’ll only be taking a look at three of them, however.
- $1,000 Welcome Bonus: Get a 200% Match Bonus on your first two deposits up to $500 a piece.
- $3,000 Slots-Specific Bonus: Get a massive 300% Match Bonus up to $3,000 on your first deposit. Funds can only be wagered at any of the online slots games.
- High Roller Bonus: For those who live dangerously, when you make your first deposit of at least $750 (but you can go higher, of course) you will receive a 200% Match Bonus up to $2,000.
There are, as I’ve said, other Welcome Bonuses. Players interested should check the options out before signing up. In addition, Casino Win Palace also offers Weekly Bonuses that change from week-to-week.
Overall
Casino Win Palace offers players a very generous selection of games to choose from, and for the most part they all look fabulous. The only advice I would give would be to remove some of the uglier, more dated games.
Another thing that should be mentioned is that in the Instant Play version of the online casino, some of the games listed are not offered to players. There is also no option to turn down (or turn off) the audio, and on some of the games this can be quite a missed opportunity.
All in all, I would say that my experience at Casino Win Palace was about average. I have no qualms recommending it to any one in need of a good online casino, but that does not mean I wouldn’t have one or two suggestions of other sites as well. All the same, I would say the site is definitely worth checking out.
HighNoonCasino.com has been providing players with superb online gaming since it opened for business in 2004. Operating out of the UK the site still accepts US players, which is one reason why we have chosen it to be one of the best online casinos for the US. But how does it stack up compared to others?
Visual Style/Graphics
The site is Wild West Themed, and it pulls off the potentially silly visual style perfectly. Menus roll out in cow skin maps, or in entertaining shooting gallery set-ups. Never has been picking a game to play been so entertaining. And speaking of the games…
They are powered by software developed by RealTime Gaming, which is one of the last companies still allowing their software to be played by members of the United States. You’ll be familiar with them as they have also supplied the software for the last few casinos we’ve reviewed here, but I’ll provide you with a refresher.
RealTime Gaming provides software that, visually, rests in the seeming “No Man’s Land” between the trenches of Traditional and Progressive casino software. Typically. At Highnooncasino.com, the graphics on the slots, video poker, and various table games seems mostly in keeping with software one might find from companies like Vegas Technology. The visuals of the games at High Noon are a little more subdued than are similar games provided by RTG at other sites.
Simplistic is a good word, and not at all meant to be implied as an insult.
Variety of Games
HighNoonCasino.com has more than 50 titles to be enjoyed by players. The offerings are varied enough in terms of “types” that there is bound to be something for any taste. They offer anything from Roulette to Poker, Slots to Keno, and everything in between (even Scratch Cards). About the only thing that isn’t offered is Online Bingo, a huge hit in Britain but not as much here in America.
Bonuses and Promotions
HighNoonCasino.com offers new players two distinct welcome bonuses, tailored to specific tastes. One aims to please the table games players in the crowd, while the second aims to please players of slots and other specialty games.
- Welcome Bonus One: 100% Match Bonus on deposits up to $500. Good on Blackjack, Video Poker, and other table/card games.
- Welcome Bonus Two: 200% Match Bonus on deposits of up to $2,000. Good on Slots, Real Slots, Keno, and Scratch Cards.
Not only that, but players can try out the games at no risk with a no-deposit bonus of $60 in free chips. That bonus is subject to certain restrictions, of course. All three bonuses require special welcome bonus codes, which are provided for the players upon signing up.
Overall
HighNoonCasino.com may not have the largest selection of games, but they have more than many other sites. Not only that, but the quality of their games is fairly superb across the board – something some other sites cannot claim.
I would certainly recommend the site to any one looking for a US-friendly online casino, especially slots players. The welcome bonuses provided by HighNoonCasino.com alone are incentive enough to join, so players need not hesitate.
